The Izara Project

The main project developed at Fahsec is Izara, an online framework for building self-governed web-services, owned and operated by the community that uses them.

The first service being developed is a marketplace, buyers and sellers will transparently engage in commerce within a community that protects and assists each other.

As the marketplace grows users choose the rules that govern the service and decide what new features to implement.

Direct democracy concepts will be implemented to achieve this, such as all users having a voice in decision making, with the option to delegate voting to other users.

The framework utilizes serverless distributed resources to ensure the community can scale as required.

Future web services than can be built upon the framework include social media services that allow the users to shape the direction of the platform.
